What It is

Fabrics with 37.5TM Technology

In fabrics with 37.5 technology, patented active particles permanently embedded at the fiber level capture and release moisture vapor. Not only do these active particles provide 800% more surface area to the fiber, they also provide a unique driving force to remove moisture vapor unlike any other technology. By actively responding to body heat, the particles use this energy from the body to accelerate the vapor movement and speed up the conversion of liquid to vapor, significantly increasing drying rates. This means the hotter the user gets, the stronger the driving force removing moisture becomes—and the more comfortable the garment remains.

Cocona fabrics work brilliantly alone, but the performance gets even better when layered—the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts. When base layer, mid layer, and outer layer are all made with 37.5 technology, each layer actively works together to create accelerated drying of the entire system.

Breathable Waterproof Laminate Fabrics with 37.5TM Technology

Our extremely breathable polyurethane laminate fabrics with 37.5 technology have excellent moisture vapor transmission rates (MVTR) for high-performance use in outerwear, footwear, and gloves. Available in 2.5 layer and the world’s first 3.5 layer, each laminate component is optimized for highest breathability while maintaining waterproofness. We use a proprietary high-MVTR hydrophilic membrane, adhesive that’s optimized for high MVTR while maintaining durability, and a finish print with patented 37.5 active particles that use body heat to speed evaporation so you stay dry and comfortable. The result: innovative laminate fabrics that move moisture to keep you dry on the inside as well as the outside.

Insulation with 37.5TM Technology

Other insulations cannot differentiate between blocking heat transfer and blocking moisture transfer so in the process of trapping heat efficiently, they also trap moisture to create a clammy microclimate. This can limit performance due to overheating and create hazardous situations when temperatures drop during periods of rest. 37.5 Insulation solves that problem.

By managing moisture in your microclimate, 37.5 Insulation works in a wider range of situations. Without overheating caused by humidity buildup, there is no need to remove layers to cool down or dry off. You experience a new level of comfort through a wider range of activity level and temperature fluctuations.

37.5 INSULATION PRODUCTS:

• 37.5 Insulation System comprised of 40g, 60g, 100g, or 160g fiber insulation and 37.5 active-particle technology taffeta lining with 37.5 active-particle technology as a print or as a yarn construction.
• Cocona insulation with 37.5 active-particle technology in 60g, 100g, and 160g weights
