Bauer Vapor Fly W Senior Shinguard

The Bauer Vapor FLY-W Senior Women’s Ice Hockey Shin Guards were specifically developed for women and combine a slim, close-fitting shape with a performance-focused protective construction.

The design is adapted to the typically slimmer anatomy of the female leg. Due to their narrow shape, the shin guards may also be suitable for older children, teenagers or other players with slim calves. Correct positioning of the knee cap, the appropriate length and a secure fit around the lower leg are essential.

The X-LITE Shield forms the basis of the shin construction. The newly developed shin cap provides a close-fitting shape designed to offer protection without adding unnecessary bulk or restricting mobility while skating.

The low-profile knee cap is designed for a deep and secure fit. A deeper knee pocket supports correct positioning of the knee within the protector and helps the shin guard remain securely in place during quick movements.

The full-coverage molded calf guard protects the rear area of the lower leg. Its slim shape follows the calf closely and supports protection and mobility without creating an unnecessarily bulky fit.

For additional protection above the knee, the Bauer Vapor FLY-W features a flexible thigh guard with HD foam. The mobile construction follows the movement of the leg and supports coverage of the lower thigh area.

The Dual Anchor Strap System secures the shin guard to the leg. The lower strap positioning is adapted to female anatomy and supports a secure, close-fitting hold around slimmer calves.

A removable comfort liner improves wearing comfort and makes the shin guard easier to maintain. The liner can be removed for drying or cleaning.

The Nanosense lining provides a comfortable feel against the leg. Combined with the slim construction, it supports a comfortable fit during training and games.
