Bauer has placed a stronger emphasis on their second price point skates, developing the Vapor and Supreme skates with greater differentiating features to give players each a unique feel on the ice.

The Bauer Vapor 3X PRO has been equipped with a few features of its own for this purpose:
A thermoformable CURV-COMPOSITE quarter provides ELITE-level support to the foot while keeping the skate very lightweight. The 48oz Pro-Stock felt tongue, provides the perfect combination of support, protection and comfort that a top player needs. A Pro TPU outsole gives the skate its "low kick point" - for optimal speed and agility, while being more flexible than the outsole of the Supreme line. The integrated eyelets including HYPERFLEX FACING provide lateral stability and improved lock of the foot in the skate, grant in the upper area thereby a better enclosure of the foot and increase at the same time the forward flex.
