Tacks AS 580, there is a premium level JDP cap construction plus a protective comfort donut. This pro level cap is designed to disperse impact force away from the knee joint. For added padding and comfort there is the donut in the knee, which will help to keep your knee in place and offer optimum comfort.

Just above the kneecaps of the AS 580 is a mid-density foam thigh guard. This pro-level thigh guard offers premium protection between the knee and bottom of the hockey pants.

Moving down to the shin, the Tacks AS 580 Shin Guards feature an anatomic-fitting PE shin cap providing players with high-level protection and durability. Additionally, there is a tape groove allowing players to lock in hockey tape keeping your pads stable all game long.

On the calf area of the Tacks AS 580 Shin Guards, CCM incorporated an exposed injection molded calf guard. This premium injected molded calf guard gives you pro level protection from shots and stick checks in the calf area.

Keeping everything secured is the Adaptfit straps which include a length adjustable calf strap. This adjustable strap will help the shin guards wrap any size calf comfortably and help keep them snug and in place all game long.

On the interior of the Tacks AS 580 Shin Guards is where you will find CCM's removable sublimated liner. This liner will offer a custom fit and enhanced comfort.
