Bauer Vapor X2.7 Leg Pads are absolutely ideal for the recreational to intermediate level goalie looking for a great amount of flex in their leg pad. The X2.7 features a Dynamic Flex Core, which is a thinner taper along the outside up into the thigh rise, and internal breaks above and below the knee for even more flexibility from top to bottom. At the bottom is a new 100° Free Flex Boot that allows the pads to sit more on top of the skate for a deeper stance and increased overall flex, making the X2.7 Leg Pads ideal for that hybrid dynamic goaltender who likes to come outside the crease, play up and down, and still go down into the butterfly.

The Vapor X2.7 continues to utilize the Tune Fit Strapping System. The inner calf strap features a y-shaped 2" elastic Velcro strap with length adjustability and a large loop landing. The outer 2" calf strap locks all the calf protection in place. The knee features a dual layered 2" elastic Velcro strap that can either be run across the back of the knee or down beside the inner calf straps loop landing. It too can be adjusted for optimal fit and comfort behind the knee landing, which is made of a soft nash material for added comfort. This extensive strapping system not only allows for quick and easy dressing times and adjustments, but reduces pad weight and helps the pad to roll better for a quicker butterfly.

The X2.7 Leg Pads boast a Monster HAL toe tie, which utilizes a bungee cord and Velcro attachment with an offset placement. All work together to allow the goalie to get closer to the ice for a better attack angle.
