The result is the new 5K Pump skate. The same Pump Air fit is here along with an amazing level of other features that make the 5K an incredible value for the money.

BOOT DETAILS:
The 5K is designed for the league and entry travel level player. The boot gives great support and good protection from pucks. The boot starts with Pro molded anatomical ankle support to prevent early boot breakdown. This allows players to keep the boot for longer than the average skate in this price range. A low profile outsole keeps you close to the playing surface to increase your maneuverability and balance. The Pump feature allows you to fine tune the fit of the skate around the ankles through the use of air.The Pump causes an air bladder to conform to the individual contours of your foot, locking in support. A really cool little feature is the SkateLock lacing feature. This allows you to lock down the tension of the laces are the all important 4th eyelet - allowing you to use separate tension in the ankle and forefoot areas. While the 5K boot is not as beefy or light as the 9K, it is still an extremely nice boot, very capable of everything league and travel level play can dish out.
